The title of a player character is a primary attribute that the character can gain by winning the favour of the leaders of their race. For each of the six playable races, there is a special title quest that the party can attempt. Completing this quest gives each member of that race several advantages. If no character of that race belongs to the party, the quest can still be taken and completed, but will only result in an honourary title.
As long as the title quest has not been completed, the title attribute defaults to the name of the race.
Earning a title provides the characters of that race with the following benefits:
- an additional bonus in base reputation of +5 with the benefactor's faction;
- an additional racial ability;
- extra hitpoints and spellpoints;
- permission to train beyond level 25.
