A ring is a type of jewelry that is worn on a finger. It forms no hindrance to the combat capabilities of the character wearing it.

No skill is required to use a ring. A player chaarcter can wear a maximum of six rings at a time.

All rings have size 1x1 in the inventory.

List of rings

Selection, specifications and flavour texts by Fander Treespook.

ring level value flavour text
Nickel Ring 2 100 A simple, unadorned ring of nickel that might be mistaken for silver by those who do not know better.
Coral Ring 6 300 A cross section of coral has been carved to look like it has been braided. It is rather brittle and few of these rings are flawless. They are sometimes reinforced with an iron core and in those cases, noticeably heavier.
Azure Ring 9 500 Lapis lazuli is among the oldest stones used for making jewelry. This one is set in a finely wrought silver ring.
Green Eyeball Ring 12 700 The jade stone in this silver ring is not named for its size. Rather, the spherical form and the faint pattern is what might have inspired the eyeball association.
Costly Ring 15 900 A small, flat and jagged piece of agate is mounted on a golden ring. Impractical for its form, but very beautiful, the more lines in the concentric patterns of the agate, the more sought after these rings are.
Emerald Ring 18 1100 Adorning this platinum ring is a huge, brilliant-cut emerald. Rings like this one are rather likely to come from some regalia and that sometimes has consequences of its own.
Admirable Ring 21 1300 Four spinels adorn this magnificent stalt ring. Spinels are often mistaken for more valuable gems like rubies and sapphires. The famous Stone Heart Ruby of Queen Charele of Regna was indeed a spinel and it has been speculated upon whether or not she found this out. In turn, this might have been the motive for poisoning her husband, King Hareck I.
Vampire's Ring 24 1500 This is one of the very rings all the elder vampires of the Typhon Expanse wear. They are made from pure gold, except from the two tiny ruby eyes.
Genie's Ring 27 1700 Demons are a ghouls best friend, or so the saying goes. Whereas this may or may not be true, genies are particularly fond of corundums, here represented by a ruby and two sapphires. The ring itself is a mix of white, yellow and leaf gold.
Diamond Ring 30 2000 Hammered white gold wonderfully wrought into an intriguing pattern and inset with two brilliantly facetted diamonds of the utmost quality, this ring can only originate from Alberich of Ryft.
Andvaranaut
artifact
20 30000 The ring of Andvari was tricked from him and somehow ended up in the horde of the dragon Fafnir. Now that you have it, it might be a good idea to return it to its owner (+10 Merchant, +50 Luck, +10% to all gold found).
Draupnir
artifact
20 20000 Alberich of Ryft created this ring over 100 years ago as a gift to the dwarven king at the time, Dino Rinpiels. The ring can imbue other items with random magical properties once per day for 8 days. On the 9th day it will need to rest, but can then start the cycle over again. King Rinpiels adored the ring, but it was stolen only a few years after and the blame was cast on the halflings of Eftling, causing a strained atmosphere between these nations for decades (of Item Enchantment, wearer immune to poison and disease, +20 Spellpoints).
Precious Pearl of Young and Beauty
artifact
20 5000 A magnificent pearl, set in a golden ring, mesmerizes the beholder by occasionally sparkling flares of soft light within. The likes of this ring has never before been seen in Karigor, Erathia, Vori, Jadame or Enroth (wearer immune to unnatural aging effects).
Utchat
artifact
20 20000 This ring was made by the Seers of Serenity in 1074 AS as a result of troubling, but unclear visions about the near future, involving the Seers to have to trust in inexperienced adventurers to carry out a mission of great importance. It was forged in hopes of aiding the inexperienced a little on their way. The ring has also been called the 'All-Seeing Eye' and confers upon its wearer a heightened perceptive sense as well as a Wizard Eye spell that remains active as long as the artifact is worn (of Wizard Eyes, +10 Perception, +10 ID Item, +10 ID Monster).
