No skill is required to use a belt.

Bracegirdle 1 40 0 Halfling belts are made of a variety of domestic animal hides. Tanned and equipped with simple iron buckles, they are not remarkable, but will do to hold a pair of pants. 2x1
Cobra Belt 3 100 0 Belts made of cobra skin used to be a symbol of status among tribesman hunters. But as they became fashionable with the civilized man, these belts gradually were turned into objects of trade instead. 2x1
Copper Belt 6 225 0 Much care has been put into tanning the leather of this belt. The buckle and beautiful ornamentation are made from copper. Judging from the quality of the metalwork, a dwarven origin is most likely. 2x1
Basilisk Plaque Belt 9 450 0 Interlocking plates alternating between phylt and kergar riveted to a leather base of basilisk skin makes up this belt. Every single one of its components are greatly receptible to enchantments, making this a highly sought-after belt. 2x1
Mogred Belt 12 650 0 Mogred hide is a superb base for making quality, long lasting equipment. The skin itself is extremely tough and magic resistant. The poisonous spines and their bases, seen as red spots after removing the spines themselves, are readily enchantable points. 2x1

20 20000 0 The barbarian Thor of Vori, one day made his journey to Karigor in search of Alberich, the famous dwarven artificer of Ryft. With him, Thor brought the muscle tendons of four frost giants he had singlehandedly slain. From them, Alberich crafted the mighty Megingjard belt, which magically captured the essence of the frost giants' strength, augmenting the might of the wearer greatly. One can only speculate upon why, or how, the belt has ended up back in Karigor (doubles the Might of the wearer, wearer immunity to sleep and insanity). 2x1
