The amount of spellpoints indicates the mana of a rested and whole player character. In the beginning of the game, this is a small number, and the party should be careful not to waste them. As the game continues, most characters will increase their potential, eventually allowing them to confront any danger with powerful magic.

Sources of spellpoints

The number of spellpoints depends on the character's race and title, class, and meditation skill, all increasing with the character's level, and their magic stat. Finally, some item enchantments can directly affect spellpoints.

Races and classes that get more spellpoints will accumulate less hitpoints, and vice versa.
