A script defines the behaviour of non-player characters, monsters, animals and certain objects. Not counting dialogues and combat, scripts mainly describe movement. NPC's may leave their homes to visit a store, for instance, monsters may patrol, and objects like elevators may move themselves - often when the party operates a switch of some kind - while a portal may move the party.
A more complicated script involves the rival party that makes Castle Mehgenac unsafe.
