Citizen
Project | Knowledge Base | Playing Guide | Coding |
A citizen is a sentient form of life, often but not always humanoid. Citizens usually live in houses or other buildings, sometimes in caves or in the open. Many do move about though and can for instance be found in the streets, or on occasion in a tavern.
Citizens normally don't fight. Many a citizen is a non-player character that the party can interact with by means of a dialogue. They all have names and will typically belong to a faction, which can influence how forthcoming they are in their dealings with the party. Others do not have a name or a true dialogue and are just scenery.
Races
The most common races of citizens in Karigor are the following.
- Ogre, Troll, Human, Vampire, Elf, Genie - the six races from which the player characters are chosen;
- Centaur, Demoniac, Dragon, Dwarf, Halfling, Wizard - six additional races that have settled in Karigor.
All these races may have their own interests and goals that can either be a help or a hindrance to the party. In addition, there are some unique citizens as well that are not of any common race.
Most races are generally confined to a single province. Humans, however, have spread out and control large parts of Karigor, but certainly not all.
