The age of a player character is the difference between the current date and their date of birth, which is chosen when the character is created. This primary attribute normally changes with 1 day per 24 hours, but some magical effects can change this.

In the game, the age of each party member, in years, is listed on the Overview screen.


Effects on gameplay

Age has no effect on gameplay unless it is increased significantly. The character's statistics get multiplied by the following age factors.

Sources of age

On Character creation assigns a base value of might dependent on race: Ogre 21, Troll 15, Elf, Human, Vampire 11, Genie 7. The player can then distribute a total of 10 extra statistic points over the six statistics. The initial value of might therefore varies from 7 to 31.
