Saint is one of the twelve final classes that can be selected for a player character upon their second promotion. Only Acolytes can advance to this magic-oriented class.


Description

With their knowledge of the self magics as a basis, Saints have chosen to follow the holy path of light. This opens up a new realm of powerful, supportive spells, all of which they can learn to cast at maximum effectiveness. In the absence of a Bard, a Saint will play music during combat, and otherwise try to stay out of harm's way if there are no spells to cast. Civilians greatly admire them, so it is only logical that Saints can be merchant grandmasters.


Skills

Saints can learn many skills, but not all. They follow the path of light. In their field of excellence, they are the only class that can reach full potential.

Reputation

Saints are much liked by the Church of the Sun, giving the party a reputation bonus if they have one in their midst (+10), and disliked by the Church of the Stars and the Church of the Moon (-5).


Promotion

Guardian Bodhi Jizo in the Gardens of Harmony (Terrax) handles the promotion to Saint. Candidates must return home a number of Lost Children, which brings them to Etanasfeld and various other provinces.
