A necklace is a type of jewelry that is hung on the neck. It forms no hindrance to the combat capabilities of the character wearing it.

No skill is required to use a necklace. Necklaces cannot be combined with amulets, and only one necklace can be worn at a time.

All necklaces have size 1x2 in the inventory.

Silver Necklace 2 200 Silver necklaces are produced by elves, dwarves, halflings and men alike. Only in studying the details of their make can the origin of a specific necklace be determined.
Gold Necklace 8 600 Soft and easy to work, as well as pretty to look at, it is no wonder gold is a popular material for making jewelry. This one needs to be polished, but is otherwise of fine quality.
Platinum Necklace 14 1000 The hardest of the precious metals, platinum is not as pretty as gold. Still, its rarity in Karigor makes it more valuable than gold and many claim it takes enchantments more readily.
Pearl Necklace 20 1400 Pearls are rare in Karigor. They are mostly imported from Regna or other faraway places. Sometimes daring seamen are able to retrieve pearls from the Sea of Mist. These pearls are the most valuable ones. It is fifty of these that make up this necklace.
Brisangamen
artifact
20 40000 Though the work was supervised by Alberich, the artificer needed the help from three more dwarves to be able to complete his masterpiece, the necklace Brisingamen. Maybe he could have done the work himself, but to actually get the price they wanted from the elven princess Fridya of Timberfall, the four dwarves indeed needed all their persuasive skills and they had to improve the enchantments of the necklace to convince her. Exactly what the princess had to pay for the necklace is not known, but stories has it that her father immediately took the necklace away from her upon finding out (of Body Magic, of Regeneration, of Mana Regeneration, +30 Magic, increased value).
Fizbin of Misfortune
artifact
0 10000 Black, and cold to the touch the fizbin hanging in a thin chain looks ominous. Now that its secret has been discovered, the wearer can use its negative energies against his or her enemies. There is a chance per successful strike in combat by the wearer, that the Fizbin will cause a random condition with the victim (of Illness).
